BEeS 2025 - Abstract Book and Presentations online!

We started July surrounded by our whole community: 193 registrants from 15 Research Infrastructures, 15 Projects and European initiatives working on Biodiversity and Ecosystem. Participants enjoyed 59 presentations, 36 posters and 12 training sessions. A big thank you to everyone who made this event possible! News from the World of Research

Be one of the 20 students and young researchers hosted in the MARBEFES Autumn School 2025 in Seville from 8 to 10 October 2025. You'll learn about tools for biodiversity & ecosystem assessment and measurement, and ecological, social and economic evaluation.

RESTORE4Cs organises two training schools in Malaga, from 3 to 6 November 2025: for researchers and wetlands restoration managers, and for experts involved in decision-making processes on coastal wetlands and protected areas. The call for applications opens in August.

The EULAC-ENERGYTRAN project launches the pilot e-learning course “Environmental Challenges and Open Science”, from 22 to 26 September 2025 in San José, Costa Rica. 

Explore how open science practices address global environmental issues. Special focus on the Latin America and Caribbean contexts!

The weever fish counts were seven times higher this year, compared to the same period of time (April to June) of 2024. This venomous species buries itself in the sand and stings through its dorsal or gill-cover spines, and its surge along the Belgian North Sea coast seems linked to warmer waters.
