The International Conference on Ecological Sciences in Metz 

LifeWatch ERIC put on two events at the Conference on Ecological Sciences in Metz in November: a Workshop to train scientists in the use of e-tools and resources to address key ecological questions on Non-indigenous and Invasive Species, considered one of the major problems affecting ecosystem functioning; and a Symposium on European Research Infrastructures, to illustrate the services and facilities they provide to address biodiversity loss.

LifeWatch ERIC hosted a regional meeting of the H2020 ALL-Ready project in Seville, attracting experts from the agricultural sector.

   

Metadata and ontologies: In this video, Nicola Fiore explains the role that LifeWatch ERIC tool EcoPortal will play in the FAIR-IMPACT project.

   

To celebrate its 15th birthday, WoRMS designed a t-shirt, with all profit going to editors, to enhance the quality of taxonomic databases.

The infrastructure organised a strategic meeting with GBIF Spain on e-biodiversity, bringing together experts of 15 EU-CELAC countries.
